About the Role
The Operations Manager Trainee will undergo a comprehensive 1-year training program at our Monroe, GA facility, with rotations at all facilities, designed to prepare them for leading one of our facilities. Upon successful completion of the training, the candidate will be relocated to manage one of the existing Tucker Door & Trim facilities or any new facility. Throughout the program, trainees will gain hands-on experience in all critical operational areas, including:
Production and Process Optimization – Oversee workflows, implement process improvements, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance efficiency and quality.
Leadership and Team Management – Develop, mentor, and lead teams while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Shipping, Logistics, and Warehouse Operations – Manage inventory control, route planning, and warehouse efficiency to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective operations.
Sales and Customer Relationship Management – Work closely with sales teams to align production capabilities with customer needs and maintain high service levels.
Accounting and Financial Oversight – Assist in budgeting, financial reporting, and cost analysis to optimize operational costs and resources.
Information Technology and Data Analytics – Leverage IT systems and data analytics to drive operational performance and continuous improvement.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration – Work across departments to align objectives, streamline workflows, and contribute to company-wide initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience: A degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred. Relevant experience in manufacturing, logistics, or operations is a plus.
Leadership Potential: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a passion for team development.
Analytical Skills: Ability to assess operations using data-driven insights to improve processes and efficiency.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
Adaptability: Willingness to relocate after the completion of the training program to manage one of our facilities or any new facility.
